There is a quietness to the Sarabi — the kind that comes from cloth made slowly, by hand, in the old way. Cut from organic handloom khadi cotton and botanically dyed into a warm sisal stripe, it moves with an unhurried ease that no machine-made fabric can replicate.

Five generous panels give the silhouette its volume: full, flowing, entirely its own. Long sleeves finish with an elasticated cuff that can be left to fall or gathered into a soft puff — a small detail that shifts the whole mood of the piece.

Handcrafted in Kenya by Hamaji Studio in small, considered batches. One size, fits UK 8–20. Length: 126cm. Alicia, who appears in the video, is 5ft 5" is a UK size 10.
